🚫 It is important that tattooed skin cannot be treated with any light-based technology, so we exclude such skin areas from the treatment.

• Shave the area to be treated 24-48 hours before treatment.

• Avoid waxing, epilation, or bleaching for 4 weeks prior to treatment.

• Do not use self-tanners or solariums 1 week before treatment.

• The skin should be cleansed, free of cream and makeup.

• Avoid invasive cosmetic procedures in the area to be treated (e.g. peels) 1-3 weeks before treatment.

• In the 2 days before the treatment, avoid using stronger cosmetics and skin scrubs, do not swim in water with a high chlorine content (swimming pool, beach), and on the day of the treatment, do not use any creams or cosmetics on the area to be treated.

• During pregnancy and breastfeeding.

• If you are taking photosensitizing medications.

• In case of sun allergy or sun sensitivity (skin test recommended).

• Fresh tan, burns, active skin diseases (e.g. eczema, herpes, psoriasis, etc.)

• Medical consultation is recommended if you have diabetes, epilepsy, or are taking blood-thinning or hormonal medications.

• In the case of a pacemaker, specialist approval is required.

• Metal prostheses and implants in the area to be treated.

Thanks to the advanced cooling system of the Quattrowave machine, the treatment is completely painless – a slight feeling of warmth or tingling may occur in the case of darker skin, but it does not burn or sting.

Usually 5-6 sessions are enough for a lasting result, but this also depends on individual characteristics (hormonal balance, hair density, body area). In areas with thicker hair, 7-8 treatments may be necessary, but typically quattrowave diode laser technology requires 20-30% fewer treatments than the old type of diode laser or IPL.

Maintenance treatment is recommended 1–2 times a year.

Hair loss is noticeable after the first session , but after the 2nd-4th treatment, significantly fewer hairs grow back. The results are gradual, after several treatments, as we must remember that the majority of hair follicles are typically dormant or in a resting phase, and only 15-25% of them are reached during one treatment. • Avoid sunbathing and solarium for 1 week.

• Do not use perfume or antiperspirant directly on the treated area for 24 hours.

• If possible, use special regenerating and sun protection cosmetics (which I can also offer in the salon) and a soothing, moisturizing cream (e.g. aloe vera, cicaplast)

• Wait 24–48 hours before using a sauna or hot bath.

If you miss an appointment, the result is not necessarily lost, but the effectiveness may decrease .

It is important to schedule treatments every 4-6 weeks to achieve optimal results. Beyond this, the number of treatments required may increase.

Yes, Quattrowave laser hair removal can be safely performed in the summer , as long as the treated area is not freshly tanned and the client follows the post-treatment guidelines , such as avoiding intense sun exposure for 1 week and applying high SPF protection to freshly treated skin. The 1064 nm wavelength makes the technology particularly suitable for treating darker or tanned skin types.

During the treatment series, the hairs:

• and they grow back more slowly .

Yes, but it is important to be careful and cautious beforehand . If there are many or suspicious-looking moles in the area to be treated, a dermatological examination is recommended before treatment . Larger moles are treated as exceptions during treatment, i.e. covered with a protective layer or omitted from laser treatment.
